Accessibility statement — HWBench
Last updated: October 16, 2026
HWBench (gethwbench.com) is a free, non-commercial website run by Michael Pechorsky, Israel. We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use it.
Standard
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. That covers the Israeli Standard IS 5568 (based on WCAG 2.0 AA), which the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013 refer to.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML, with labelled form fields and tables that have headers
- No cookies, pop-ups or third-party scripts
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1, keyboard navigation, a skip link and visible focus
- Automated accessibility testing (pa11y / axe) on every release
- Last check: October 16, 2026, an automated pa11y check plus a manual keyboard-only check
Known limitations
- The large comparison table on the home page is complex to use with a screen reader. Each platform also has a simpler page under /platform/.
- The site interface is in English. The accessibility statement is also available in Hebrew.
- Benchmark data links to third-party websites, whose accessibility we do not control.
We keep working on these limitations and update this statement when the site changes.
